Commercial Laundry
ABI serves a non-food industrial niche market with a line of dry and liquid commercial laundry starches. Our long-standing, well-recognized laundry starch products are corn or wheat based, and customers are offered pre-gel, pre-cooked or instant starches to suit their individual processing equipment.
Pharmaceutical
For the pharmaceutical industry, ABI offers a selection of excipient starches, also known as bulking agents, used in the manufacturing of tablets and capsules. These products are offered through our in-house product line or in custom blends that meet specific customer needs.
All ABI pharmaceutical products meet U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) and National Formulary (NF) guidelines.
Contract Blending
All of the ABI production facilities are uniquely designed for “precision blending,” including Dairy 3A capability. We produce not only proprietary in-house blends, but also ingredient mixes for private label customer products and for other commercial uses. With our expertise in both dry and temperature-controlled liquid blending, we are able to mix components that other suppliers cannot.
ABI follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to guarantee consistency and avoid product defect. The American Institute of Baking (AIB) has consistently awarded a “Superior” rating to all of the ABI facilities.
